How to Become an F-1 or M-1 International Student at Quality Careers Institute
Quality Careers Institute welcomes students from all over the world regardless of race, sex, language, nationality, religion or political ideology. Any student who is not a citizen or permanent resident of the United States and its territories will be considered an international student. All international students transferring from another U.S. institution or coming directly from abroad are encouraged to contact a QCI International Student Advisor at 1.847.537 – 8918 or email: director@qcinstitute.com as soon as they decide to study at QCI. In addition to the standard requirements, international student applicants must complete the following steps before they are accepted for admission and a U.S. Immigration form I-20 is issued:
- Submit the International Student Application for Admission with $100 non-refundable processing fee and $150 tuition down payment. The partial tuition down payment will be refunded in thirty days after the written request for a refund is made and the original I-20 form issued to the applicant is returned to the Institute unused.
- Submit a copy of the international passport and (if you are already in USA) the copy of the I-94 card.
- Submit a financial affidavit of support from a bank, parent, guardian, sponsor or government agency.
- Submit original and English translations of official transcripts from secondary schools and colleges attended.
QCI accepts payments made by a certified check or money order drawn on a U.S. bank and payable in U.S. dollars or bank transfer if the payment is made from abroad. Request the bank routing information by contacting DSO of the school at director@qcinstitute.com
Before obtaining the I-20 form from Quality Careers Institute, international transfer students already in the U.S. should also obtain a transfer release form from our school (or download it from our web site) and submit it to the current school for approval.
The QCI will issue an I-20 form upon the receipt of all necessary documents and funds as described above.
Upon arrival in Chicago, students coming from abroad should immediately contact the international student advisor to arrange for classes and other necessary matters. The QCI does not have dormitories and students must make their own housing arrangements or arrange with the school for housing support based on the Services table provided on this site.
